 Optimism High For Small Business Owners

Small businesses are feeling optimistic about 2007. A survey conducted for Wells Fargo of San Francisco showed the highest number of small business owners who expect higher revenue and good cash flow. It is the highest since they started the surveys in 2003.

 Self-Employed & Small Businesses Reach New High

2005 had the highest number of self employed and small businesses. The report issued by
The U.S. Small Business Administration's Office of Advocacy cited 29 million small businesses of which 19.8 million were small businesses without employees.

 New San Francisco Paid Sick Leave Ordinance Starts

Small Businesses in San Fransisco aren't happy about a new paid sick leave law that goes into effect this February. It's bad news because of the shortage of workers in California, and an increase in the state mimimum wage.
