Sales of Manufacturing Businesses Rise in California

strong>Manufacturing Business Purchases Red Hot

Business brokers are telling me the same story: manufacturing businesses are selling fast in California right now.

Manufacturing businesses are being purchased by manufacturing professionals who want to leave corporate America. They are often looking for a more complex business and can finance larger larger SBA loans needed to do so. These small businesses command higher puchase prices but also have higher cashflow.

Adding fuel to this already hot market, the EPA just announced less restrictive environmental compliance rules for small businesses. They are streamlining a process that until now has disproportionately hurt small manufacturing businesses.

From the press release: "...the smallest [companies] annually spend 45 percent more per employee to comply with federal regulations than their larger counterparts. Per employee, compliance with environmental regulations costs small firms 364 percent more than large firms."

Now is a great time to buy or sell a manufacturing business in California. If you don't want to miss out on a new listing, subscribe to our RSS feed, or the Manufacturing Related Businesses For Sale Email Reports.

There are many types of manufacturing businesses on the market. For example, one of our featured listings right now is a Gift Chocolate Manufacturer And Gift Basket Wholesaler.
