Spring Break And Tax Season Slow Sales Of Businesses

Sales of small businesses in California have slowed down the last two weeks due to spring break vacation and tax season. There are four seasons/times of the year small business sales dip and this is one of them reflecting our business sales sold stats this past week: 368 California businesses were sold by business owners of small businesses, business brokers, & real estate agents for the week of April 9, 2007 and April 15, 2007.

Sales of California businesses during this time period by County include:

Contra Costa County: 25, El Dorado County: 7, Fresno County: 8, Kern County: 10, Kings County: 1, Lassen County: 1, Los Angeles County: 81, Marin County: 5, Merced County: 2, Napa County: 7, Nevada County: 3, Orange County: 47, Placer County: 2, Plumas County: 1, Riverside County: 26, Sacramento County: 19, San Bernardino County: 15, San Diego County: 9, San Francisco County: 20, San Joaquin County: 2, San Luis Obispo County: 3, San Mateo County: 5, Santa Barbara County: 5, Santa Clara County: 24, Santa Cruz County: 3, Siskiyou County: 2, Solano County: 7, Sonoma County: 5, Stanislaus County: 6, Tehama County: 2, Ventura County: 2, Yolo County: 3
