Albert DiPadova owner of Due - a boutique maternity company/franchisor is selling his stunning Santa Barbara franchise location. He has put a
virtual tour of the location on their business website to assist in the
sale of the business. The pictures are ideal and a great way to show potential buyers what the store looks like before they even decide to visit. - more sellers should do a video or picture virtual tour to increase the likelihood of selling - buyers love to see what a business looks like before they visit.
More about how the business started, the sale of this franchise, and the owner's story:
"Due was born out of necessity. While visiting family in Santa Barbara during her pregnancy, former publicist Shannon Raffetto DiPadova and her husband, advertising veteran Albert DiPadova, noticed that there were no specific maternity stores to shop. It seemed strange considering Santa Barbara had so many great clothing stores, and yet no stylish boutique featuring clothes and products a mom-to-be would desire. This was a business opportunity they could not pass up.
Early in 2003, Shannon, Albert and newborn Sofia, moved back to Santa Barbara with a vision: to launch a maternity store and online shop that features the highest quality merchandise for expecting moms while providing caring and positive service that would make them feel celebrated.
With their success in Santa Barbara, Albert and Shannon decided it was time to branch out, so they began to look for additional locations. 2005 has been a big year for Due. A partnership was formed with Courtney and Heather Paradice to open Due in Atlanta and Carolyn Ball to open Due Austin. In addition, Albert and Shannon missed the City by the Bay (their home for over 10 years) and decided it was time to move back to open Due San Francisco."
