Ron Hottes, Business Broker a longtime Sunbelt Business Brokers franchisee has left Sunbelt and merged with Business Team and opened a Southern California office.
Ron provided the BizBen blog with more details about his move and plans for the future:
"Ron Hottes, the owner of BizSellBrokers Inc. in Torrance, CA, previously doing business as Sunbelt Business Sales & Acquisitions is proud to announce that he has merged with the Northern California firm of Ian MacLachlan’s BTI, Inc., doing business as Business Team.
Ron built his office into the largest and most successful Sunbelt offices in the nation and will now operate the same business as a Business Team office. San Jose, the largest Business Team Office in Northern California, and the other nine BT offices dominate business brokerage sales in Northern California.
Ron says of his decision to merge with BT, “There are two reasons, one, we had grown beyond the benefits of being a franchise and two, to continue my growth I needed the right partner. Ian Maclachlan and I both share the same business philosophies and it was a natural for us to pair up.”
The pair is also proud to announce the formation of a new entity, Business Team SoCal, Inc. that will be opening up to 10 new business brokerage offices in Southern California. They have selected Eric Landis and Matt Coletta to manage the new offices. Eric is a 10 year veteran and Matt is a 15 year veteran of successful business brokering. The first two offices have opened in Newport Beach and Calabasas."
