Comments:

Most business owners have no idea as to what their business is worth in the "real world" and put a price on their business which in many cases seems to have been pulled out of a hat and is far from realistic. The business owner who is serious about selling needs to be educated by a qualified business broker in how a business valuation for their business is critical to the sales process since this is how the sale price of their business is justified to prospective buyers and, if financing is needed, this justification should correspond to the requirements of a lender.
