Comments:

Buying a franchise is a complicated process made more so because the buyer needs to make sure they are going to be accepted as a new owner by the franchise company. One of the safest things a buyer can do is buy an existing franchise business (if they can afford it). It's simple - franchise businesses are based on proven business systems that are well documented and the big plus is that the franchisor will typically provide the new owner with the same training they are giving to new owners who purchase new franchises. That's a huge advantage when you look at a non-franchised existing business when you ask the owner how many people he has trained to run his business. Of course there are many more benefits to buying an existing franchise business. But always remember there is no one franchise business that is good for everyone and there are lots more bad franchises than good ones.
