ADA Lawsuits In California Town Worry Shop Owners


Small business owners in Eureka, California, are panicked over the closure of Eureka's Arctic Circle last month, fearing they could be targeted for a disabilities noncompliance lawsuit. Eureka attorney Jason K. Singleton has filed a string of lawsuits in the last 10 years against local businesses for allegedly violating the Americans with Disabilities Act. In Eureka, the community is divided over whether the lawsuits are frivolous or the disabled remain victims.
