119 California Small Businesses For Sale, Franchises, & Business Opportunities Were Sold Between June 30, 2008 and July 6, 2008.

Sales of California small businesses:

Alameda County: 8, Contra Costa County: 2, Kern County: 2, Los Angeles County: 38, Marin County: 1, Merced County: 1, Orange County: 17, Sacramento County: 5, San Bernardino County: 10, San Diego County: 15, San Francisco County: 5, San Luis Obispo County: 1, Santa Barbara County: 2, Santa Clara County: 3, Sonoma County: 1, Sutter County: 1, Tuolumne County: 1, Ventura County: 4, Yolo County: 2

Sales were slower the last two weeks due to the 4th of July weekend and staggered summer vacations. Los Angeles County businesses for sale again led with leading numbers totaling 38 sold for the week.  San Diego County businesses sales were second with 15 closings.
