WHO WE ARE
John Van Dyke is the founder and president of Dakota Water Systems, a seawater and brackish water purification systems company. Prior to Dakota Water Systems, John owned and operated a banking company headquartered in Sioux City Iowa. Since the late 1980’s John has been active as an Angel investor, a member of the Band of Angels, and as a director and shareholder of a number of industrial companies including Fiberlite, Zephyr-Tec and Pionetics. John has invested in over 100 startup companies and has held interim CEO positions in a number of companies. John graduated with High Distinction from Dartmouth, and received an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Harry Dahlberg is a widely recognized turnaround expert and operating executive. He has successfully directed the business regeneration of a wide range companies in a variety of industries. He was most recently engaged as the Chief Operating Officer, shareholder and a member of the Board of Directors of WebPKG. Harry earned his bachelor’s degree at Stanford University, magna cum laude, and a master’s degree from Columbia University. He is a member of the Alameda Economic Development Commission and Phi Beta Kappa.
Messrs. Dahlberg and Van Dyke recently engineered the successful sale of WebPKG to a large packaging manufacturer. Additionally, they have become founders, shareholders and directors of AirKast, a high technology company. They are seeking to acquire and operate a new company.
