Welcome to the supercharged new version of BizBen.
Please take a few moments to scroll (stroll) through its easy navigation aids, so you can become familiar with the fresh look and feel of our site, and discover the new tools we’ve created to help you find and use the information and ideas that can help you meet your business objectives.
This extreme makeover of our popular website has been several months in the making. We wanted to combine the value of our content with the power of the latest technologies so you have, readily available at your fingertips, the facts you need to make decisions in the purchase and sale of small and mid size businesses. And in the choice of professionals who are qualified to provide important services.
This is the fifth, and perhaps the most dramatic of the upgrades to BizBen.com since the early 1990s when our printed directory of businesses for sale was converted to the digital service that now accommodates thousands of visitors and tens of thousands of page views every day. And with this major upgrade, we're excited to introduce a robust array of tools providing easy access to our growing library of content, offering expanded opportunities to interact with the site, and serving up information that is specific to the locations and business categories important to each of our entrepreneur visitors.
Among the new features we think you’ll appreciate, are:
--Wider and deeper search capabilities: Details about specific businesses are augmented with information about 1) other, similar businesses--useful for comparisons; 2) valuable ideas for buying and selling in particular industries; and 3) database of business brokers with experience in businesses and geographic areas of interest;
--Fresh navigation design that makes it intuitively simple to find and sort through our growing library of content so users can quickly get to just the facts required;
--Distinct and separate categories of offerings so buyers can choose among existing businesses for sale, business opportunities not yet evolved to the business-for-sale stage, new franchise listings, and franchise resales;
--Power user accounts which enable registered visitors to save their searches for later review, and to receive notification when new offerings that match specific requirements become available;
--Improved site architecture to expand the interactive features and promote the benefits of Internet communities: Exchanging information, asking and answering questions, and receiving timely updates on news and developments of particular interest to specific segments of the BizBen.com audience;
--Demographic refinements enabling site users to quickly hone in on specific market segments and resources;
--Expanded blogs section with a substantial database of valuable information covering a variety of businesses, buying and selling challenges, educational opportunities and news that affects specific geographic areas and business categories.
--Access to BizBen Talk Radio, its schedules and the podcasts of tutorials, interviews and other popular features of our online station.
Please take a few moments to become familiar with some of the site’s navigational tools and its resources. And give our interactive function a try by letting us know what you like and/or don’t like about the revamped BizBen.com, and what else you’d like to see on these electronic pages in the future.
Thank you.
