Description Of This Southern California Clothing And Accessory Manufacturing, Wholesaler Business For Sale:

Our Company Is Currently Based In San Diego, California, But The Business Can Be Run From Los Angeles (Would Be Best), Or Anywhere In The Us, Depending On Where You Decided To Manufacture. We Do Our Manufacturing Primarily In Mexico, So Being In San Diego Is An Advantage. But If You Decide To Manufacture In House Or In China, Then You Can Work From Anywhere. The Designer/Owner Would Be Happy To Train Any Buyer On The Intricacies Of Managing An Apparel Manufacturing Company And Divulge All Of Her Contacts In The Business, Including Manufacturers In China, Mexico, Peru, And Suppliers And Sources For All Manner Of Apparel.

Our Designer Is A Professional Who Would Also Be Willing To Design The Clothes On A Contract Basis(Not In-House) For As Long The New Owner Desires. Because The Company Is Well Known For A Particular Style, Her Personal Touch Would Ensure The Same Style Of Clothing That Our Customers Demand. Our Company Has Been In The Business For 10 Years. We Made Plenty Of Money Through The Good Times And Are Being Hit By The Economic Downturn. We Know Exactly How To Turn It Around, But Can Not Afford To.

We Have Not Spent One Dime On Advertising In The Entire 10 Years. If A New Owner, Perhaps An Enterprising Woman, Bought The Company And Did Some Advertising, Paid Down The Existing Debts, And Put In Some Effort, This Company Could Be Extremely Profitable Again. Even In A Bad Year, Our Profits Are Pretty Good.

Our Profit Margin Is Well Over 50%. That Means That No Matter How Much We Spend On Fabric And Manufacturing, We'll Make More Than Twice As Much. Most Companies In This Industry Would Die For The Margins We Get. Some Of Our Pieces Are Over 75%. I'll Briefly Explain Some Of The Pluses And Minuses To Our Company.
Pluses:

High Profit Margin
Well Known In Industry
Free Press(Magazines Contact Us Constantly And Want To Feature Our Clothing For Free, Most Companies Need A Pr Rep To Contact The Mags. We've Had Our Clothing In Magazines As Recently As 2 Different Magazines In August And One In September) Decent Profit Which Could Easily Be Improved With Some Advertising And Sales Efforts(And Once The Economy Turns Back Up, Could Return To Where It Once Was, Which Was Very Very Good)
Free Sources(The Owner Is Willing To Divulge All Of Her Sources. All The Fabric Companies And People At Them, The Trim Companies, Wash Houses, Manufacturers, Etc. If You Ask Anyone In This Industry For Their Sources, They'll Laugh At You Or Lie To You. These Are Free Sources That Would Take Years And Years To Compile, And You'll Have The Cheapest Source For Everything You Could Possibly Want To Buy)
Tons Of Inventory
Plenty Of Equipment
Low Overhead(Very Low)
Relocatable- This Business Can Be Run From Almost Anywhere. We Chose San Diego Beacuse Our Manufacturing Is Done In Mexico, But You Can Manufacture Anywhere You Please. Or We'll Give You Our Manufacturing Source In Mexico, And Teach You How To Continue Doing Business With Them
With So Many Clothing Companies Struggling In This Tough Economy, We Are Selling Next Spring Better Than Last Spring- We Are Doing Very Well Considering The Shape Of The Economy And If Things Return To Where They Were, You Will See The Kinds Of Numbers We've Seen And Will Be Very Happy About It

Minuses:
Debt- It's Really Not An Unreasonable Amount Of Debt, But It's There. We Have A Good Track Record With The Majority Of Our Vendors Though, And Have Not Burned Any Bridges. Also, The Price Of Our Business Is Very Flexible. We Are Willing To Negotiate Based On How Much Debt The Buyer Takes Care Of, Etc. If You Want To Buy The Business And The Debt, You Can Pay A Little Less. Or You Can Pay A Little More And We'll Pay Down The Debt Before The Sale Is Final.

The Bottom Line Is: If You've Got A Bit Of Money To Spend On Advertising And Getting Rid Of Our Debt, You'll Have A Nice Profitable Business At A Place In The Industry Where Very Few Companies Will Ever Get. And For A Very Bargain Price! Contact Me Soon. I Doubt This One Will Last.

Business Acquisition Financing Request Needs Accurate Cash Flow Earnings Explanation

What are the actual "provable" adjusted net earnings (cash flow) of a company being purchased and considered for business acquisition financing? Buyers will need to look carefully at tax returns and financial statements to determine the "real" adjusted net income or cash flow of the business being purchased - banks and financial institutions review these numbers carefully (and in many instances discount items that may be considered addbacks). If you are thinking of financing a business purchase you need to read this BizBen blog posting.

Business Buyer Seeks Small Southern California Business To Purchase - Priced Around $100,000

I am looking for a small, easy to run business without a large amount of industry specific knowledge required. Small food carts, arcades, booking or talent agencies and other unique businesses are the ones I am most interested in. I am interested in the Southern California area, especially Los Angeles and the Counties closest to it. I am looking to spend under $100,000 unless a unique opportunity comes along. A net as low as $15,000 is fine.  I currently live in Boston, MA and I am looking to move to California. I do not have any kind of pre-qualification yet. I am technically able and own an online business now. Please log into your BizBen Account for more details and contact information regarding this business buyer.
