The facility is located on broad street, the main street in the town of nevada city. The building is approximately 1,400 square feet and was constructed circa 1860. This is a wood framed structure with metal roof and contains a small basement area of about 100 square feet, which is used for beer and wine storage along with other items. There is a parking lot behind the building that will accommodate 6 vehicles. Since purchasing the facility in 2007 the owners have replaced all the electrical wiring together with a new electric panel. Other recent replacements are: the air conditioner (4 years), furnace (2 years), water heater (1 year), some of the windows, a new metal roof and rain gutters, kitchen and bathroom flooring, and opened the space between seating areas. The storage, kitchen areas, and dish room were remodeled with several new appliances and an alarm system installed.
Indoor seating accommodates about 40 people and there is a large outside patio with seating for about 56 people. The six employee parking spaces in the rear of the building are a rarity in the town. The building and grounds are well maintained and in very good condition.
