Description About This Posting: Franchise Home Health Hospice Staffing Agency
We have an excellent opportunity to acquire a Franchise Agency that can take one of many directions: 1. Home Health (Skilled), 2. Hospice Care, 3. Home Care (Non-Skilled) and or 4. Staffing Services.
This agency has an assigned coverage area in the LA County area, but based on other Franchisee offerings' in other territories, you may be able to enter these areas as well. Upon meeting, we can explain this loophole.
What are the advantages of looking at a Franchise Agency? Economies of Scale, Mentorship, Established Compliance Systems, Franchise Provided Training, Franchise Provided Software System, Access to Corporate Level Contracts, and more.
This agency is currently focused more so on the staffing component of its business model with Skilled Nursing Facilities and major hospital chains being an integral part of its target market. The owner will be able to share the exact names of the contracts that have been established after an NDA has been initiated and on an in-person basis.
The Franchisee would need to qualify with the Franchisor as a part of the requirement being having a net worth: $300,000+ liquid capital: $100,000 $250,000. As a part of being a Franchisee, you would have access to a plethora of resources that often most smaller agencies have to pay a lot of money to consultants to acquire. This Franchise has over 300 offices nationwide and it was established in 1966, meaning that it understands the healthcare terrain.
This agency as mentioned above can take 1, 2, 3 and or 4 directions: 1. Home Health (Skilled), 2. Hospice Care, 3. Home Care (Non-Skilled) and 4. Staffing Services. This seller at one point was licensed as a Non-Skilled Home Care provider but he opted to exit this market and pursue more so the Staffing portion of the business model. The seller has a good number of professional staff members, both employees and per diem. Please make sure to ask about the staff type and number of staff type, the payroll amounts and the answer is yes, the staff will stay with the Franchisee.
The one major thing to know is that if you opt to take on either Hospice Care or Skilled Home Health, the costs incurred to acquire your license and accreditation are minimal in comparison to free standing agencies. The actual costs will be disclosed during any in person meeting.
Insofar as actual location, the seller has been able to make it so that the buyer can move this business within an area that covers multiple cities in the LA County area (actual territory will be disclosed upon an in-person meeting).
This is not your typical agency sale and therefore you as a buyer need to do your own due diligence with regards to the Franchisee/Franchisor relationship. This agency is an exciting way for most buyers to enter the healthcare setting with a minimal investment and an incredible support network.
