There is plenty of opportunity to cross-sell and diversify by adding an esthetician and other related service providers. Hosting theme events like wedding prep, mother/daughter outings or birthday parties could help fill available capacity. In addition, there may be an opportunity to add minimally invasive medical spa treatments with the right staff. Marketing should be focused on driving referrals to booth renters or employees depending upon the employment model elected. The buyer should also get the word out to local hotels and vacation rental property management to capture the tourist population interested in salon experiences.
The seller is distracted with other responsibilities and has done little since COVID to recruit and develop stylists or cosmeticians nor is she actively doing any local advertising or marketing beyond Instagram and free yelp. She owns a home in Arizona and travels between residences.
