My past business responsibilities were running day-to-day operations and Mergers & Acquisition, which I ended almost a decade ago and since then I have personally owned and sold small businesses. A few years ago I started business brokerage firm to help buyers and sellers reach their goals.
Specialty - My overall expertise is in business analysis and growth but with a sharp focus on the following business; Liquor Stores, Convenience And Grocery Stores, Markets, Hotels, Motels, Service-Based, Retail.
As a potential Buyer -- if any of these questions are running through your mind then you should call, even if it's just to get a second opinion.
1. Why does it take so long to find a business?
2. Do I have the skill set to run the business or can I learn fast enough and make it a success?
3. How do I verify the stated income of a business?
4. What are my options with financing (Business Loan, 401K, Equity Line, or 1031 Exchange), Type of Business, Geographic Region, maximizing my investment, and minimizing my risks?
As a potential Seller - if you are faced with some of these decisions, then you should call ... at least you can make an informed decision even if we don't end up working together.
1. Should I sell my business or not, and if I do what will I do next?
2. What is a fair price or market value for my business and/or property?
3. Will my business qualify for a SBA loan, or do I need to finance part of the purchase price?
4. If I provide seller financing, how do I select the right Buyer who will grow the business rather than run it to the ground?
I take time in discussing what my clients need and how I can make a difference in their pursuit of financial stability or their road to wealth. I have personally negotiated deals from $100K to $25 million.
