Is there a cost to use (view info on) BizBen? Is it Free to search the site?
There is no cost (its FREE!) to search or use other great tools like saving postings & posts, notes taken online, etc on any of our online postings and posts on BizBen. There is a minimal cost to place a posting (advertising) to sell a business or post a business wanted to buy. Is there a commission or any additional fees to post on BizBen besides the advertising fee?
No. There are no hidden commissions or fees. Our advertising/posting prices are all you will ever pay to place a posting on our site. BizBen is the most effect and least expensive method of reaching the right audience to either sell a business (for sale postings) or buy a business (wanted postings).
How do you sign up on BizBen to save postings, searches, posts, notes, etc?
Go to the Register link (or the log in link) at either the top or bottom of the page on BizBen. Add your information on the form and you will be emailed a confirmation link to varify your online registration. Just click on the link in the email and your BizBen Account will be activated. When you are logged into BizBen you can save your search criteria, save postings and posts, take notes and save them on all content on the site, follow Users, and much more in the MyAdmin box shown on the lefthand part of the BizBen website. I lost my BizBen Password - how do I retreve it to log into BizBen?
If you forget your BizBen password go to the Log In and utilize the lost my password function and enter your BizBen Account email address and we will email your password.
How does BizBen generate traffic to their website?

What are Daily Email Reports?
Daily Email Reports are a compilation of all new listings for the previous day that have been added to BizBen. You can select reports by: Geographic area, business category (over 25 available), business specialty selections (over 30 available), and by all counties in California. Your Daily Email Report will be emailed to you early in the morning if their have been any new listings that have been added the previous day in one single report. To ensure you get your Daily Email Reports make sure you add BizBen.com to your Email program's "safe-list" so emails we send to you don't go into your spam folder by mistake! You can edit, turn off your campaign in your BizBen MyAdmin module.
What is the Fast Track advertising program?
The BizBen Fast Track advertising/posting program is a program for sellers, agents, brokers, & agents who want to get the maximum exposure for either their for sale or wanted to buy posting: The Fast Track posting program usually accomplishes: Multiple buyers for your listing/posting, intensive daily exposure, and one of the best ways to sell or buy a business in California. We limit the number of Fast Track postings on BizBen to maximize your exposure at all times throughout the site.
How do I make sure Emails/Messages from BizBen don't go into my SPAM/Trash folder?
To make sure all important emails/messages are sent to you from BizBen (and from interested site Users about your content on BizBen) don't end up into your email program's spam/junk folder by mistake - make sure you put these email addresses into you email address book: email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org. Also put @bizben.com in your "Safe Senders / White List" in your email program this will also help insure you get all important emails sent to you from BizBen regarding your info and advertising/postings on our site.
What are Instant Email Alerts?
Instant Email Alerts on BizBen let you get instant notices by email new listings that have been posted/advertised. You select what geographic areas you want and business catagories (25 different ones) and business types (over 600). You can be as specific as you want in your selection. All serious buyers should sign up for and receive BizBen Instant Email Alerts - many of the best businesses for sale go into contract fairly quickly so you want to me one of the first to receive notices of new postings and be able to act on them. You can add or edit your criteria at anytime. Make sure you also put BizBen.com on you Email program's "safe-list" so emails we send to you don't go into your spam folder by mistake!
Who can utilize the Fast Track Advertising Program & what does it include?
All advertisers can utilize this intensive, special advertising program for postings placement on BizBen. Fast Track Postings get a great deal more exposure on our website and in our Daily Email Reports & Instant Email Alerts. Fast Track Postings are located on EVERY postings results pages and are "refreshed" much more frequently than the Standard Advertising Program postings. We also limit the number of Fast Track Postings on the results pages online so that they really stand out and are seen by site users. The cost depends on the length of time: $200 for 30 days, $300 for 60 days, and $400 for 90 days (the 90 day option offers a guaranteed results feature - get an extra 90 days for free on us if you don't have success selling or buying!)

Can I upgrade from a Standard Posting to a Fast Track Posting?
Yes, you can upgrade your Standard Posting at anytime during your advertising run on BizBen. You can apply the dollar amount you paid from your current Standard Posting dollar amount within the first two weeks on our site to a Fast Track Posting. After you select and pay for this upgrade a highly trained BizBen Advertising Advisor will contact you to set up and implement all the features associated with the Fast Track Posting Program.
Can I edit or turn off Instant Email Alerts, Daily Email Reports?
Yes. Lets say your going on vacation, or you just want to turn off/suspend your Instant Email Alerts or Daily Email Reports (of new and refreshed postings) you can in your My Admin section (on the upper lefthand side of this page) when you login to your BizBen Account. At anytime you can "turn on, turn off/Suspend" these functions. You can also edit any of these Email Report/Alert functions at anytime.
Is my information secure with your site?
Yes. BizBen does not sell or give out to anyone your information, email address, name etc. We value your privacy as we do ours. BizBen also utilizes to ensure your privacy the best encryption code and security programs available.
Are there discounted advertising programs for advertising multiple postings on BizBen?
Yes there are. The discount for multiple postings on BizBen for can be viewed on our BizBen Advertising Information page (Multiple Posting Plans). How long does it take for my new posting to display on BizBen?
Your posting will appear immediately on BizBen in the appropriate areas and catagories on BizBen making it easier for potential Users to find and contact you about your available or wanted posting. We will also refresh your posting periodically so that site Users are exposed to it on a regular basis.
When writing a posting/ad for BizBen what are the most important factors?
First you want to include as much possible information as possible (as much as confidentiality will allow provided that it is important) in your posting/ad - talk about the history of the business, where it's at now, and the potential in the future. Buyers also want to know about: lease factors, number of employees, geographic area, competitive factors, financial information - past/present/projected future etc. We have found that the advertisers/BizBen users who write a comprehensive, detailed posting are usually the ones who get the best response by far.
How do I modify my business for sale posting/ad on BizBen?
You can update and modify your posting(s) on BizBen at any time - 24/7. To do so, log into BizBen and then go to the BizBen MyAdmin section (you'll see it in the upper left part of BizBen when you are logged into your BizBen Account) - you'll see a link to your "Active Postings" & "Inactive Postings" lower in the MyAdmin box/section. In both these modules you can revise/edit, inactivate a posting. It's also in these modules that you can see your viewed stats and messages/emails relating to each posting listed.
What information should I include in my Posting on BizBen?
More information is better than less! Try and give as much information as possible when submitting your posting/ad on our site. Discuss the history of the business, the potential of future business, the area the business or commercial real estate is located in. If you can put financial information into the body of the long profile (in the posting) so much the better. The advertisers who get the best response from BizBen are the ones who answer many of the questions a potential buyer or seller will typically ask in their posting online.
How will the sale of my business be kept confidential?
Most buyers will be understand they will need to sign a non-disclosure agreement before reviewing any imformation about the sale of your business. Only a limited amount of information should be disclosed prior to determining if the potential buyer is either legitimate or capable of completing the transaction. BizBen offers advertisers an example of a Confidentiality Agreement or Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in the Advertising Managment section when you log into your BizBen account.
How do I remove or inactivate my Posting on BizBen?
You can remove your Posting at anytime by logging into your BizBen Account and making your posting "inactive" in the MyAdmin section to the left of the site when your logged in. Feel free to phone our Customer Support line at 888-212-4747 anytime for assistance if needed.
What types of payment do you accept for postings and advertising plans?
We accept either credit or debit card payments. Payment via check is accepted as long as the Account User pays at least six months in advance. Ongoing (monthly) advertisers are auto-billed monthly via a credit or debit card on the 1st of each month.
Can I upgrade my BizBen advertising program at any time?
Yes, you can upgrade your advertising on BizBen at anytime by calling Peter toll free at 866-270-6278, we will prorate and upgrade your advertising right over the phone.
Is my email address displayed in my BizBen posting(s)?
No, due to confidentiality your email address is "masked" or hidden behind our online message box/form for potential site users to contact you by email message (and possible by text if you have an advanced BizBen Account).
How many & in what format should my pictures be in for my posting(s)?
Up to 6 pictures are allowed to be placed in postings. Pictures should be in jpg format. When you editing/revising your posting you can change or add photos at that time also. Pictures with your posting(s) need to be pictures of the business or commercial real estate you have available - please no logos, stock photography, copyrighted ptotos, etc.).
Are there any membership fees to join BizBen to advertise?
No there are no membership or initiation fees to join BizBen to advertise.
